Screw or nail in the tire, plug it yourself

Getting a screw/nail in your tire happens, to me it’s about once a year across our 3 cars. I’m able to plug them myself with this awesome tire plugging kit.

1) Pull out the screw/nail with plyers.
2) Insert the spike with the nozzle on it.
3) Unscrew the spike so that the nozzle is in the tire.

4) Load the mushroom plug into the cocking gun
5) Screw in the loaded cocking gun.

6) Cock the mushroom head into the tire, squeeze the handle many times (takes about ~5 squeezes), basically until it won’t go any more
7) Pull out the cocking gun attached to the nozzle, so that the rubber shaft is sticking out.
8) Pull on the rubber shaft to make sure that it’s secured inside the tire by it’s mushroom head, then cut the shaft off with the razor blade, leaving a little sticking out fo the tire.
9) Fill the tire up with air, spray the plug with soap and water to see if there are bubbles/leak.
